JOB SUMMARY:
Driver positions for tanker, vacuum trucks, end dump, and flatbed trucks
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Adheres to all PSC Policies per Environmental, Health, Safety and Transportation Manuals. Including, but not limited to, Life Safety Rules and PSC's Loss Prevention System (LPS).
o Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by PSC Policies and/or client requirements
o Maintains a Driver Daily Log per DOT Regulations and PSC Policy
o Completes Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports during Pre and Post Trip Inspections at the beginning and end of each shift per DOT Regulations and PSC Policy.
o Assures vehicles and equipment are safe to operate per DOT Regulations and PSC Policies prior to beginning route.
o Verifies load, tools, equipment, and materials are properly secured per DOT Regulations and PSC Policy prior to beginning of any route on public or private roadways.
o Adhere to all traffic laws per DOT Regulations and PSC Policy while operating any company vehicle on public or private roadways.
o Trained on the proper use of all PPE required to do the work safely.
o Safely Deliver hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste and products, to and from destination
o Drive company vehicles in accordance with DOT Regulations and PSC Policies.
o Labels, marks, and manifests shipments in accordance with DOT Regulations and PSC Policies.
o Loads shipment onto PSC equipment per DOT Regulations and PSC Policies.
o Interacts with customer in a professional manner regarding job status, client requirements, and assures customer satisfaction.
o CDL drivers assure brake adjustment inspections are completed prior to use
o Operates and maintains trucks and equipment per manufactures recommendations
o Does not modify any vehicle or piece of equipment without written permission from the manufacturer and PSC management
o Trained on the installation, operation, and repairs of mechanical devices such as pumps, valves, PTO's etc.
o May troubleshoot equipment and make minor repairs as long as they have the knowledge to complete the task safely.
o Immediately reports all accidents, near misses, and injuries involving employee or others while operating company vehicles/equipment to the Safety Manager over the area
o Recommends changes and improvements to safety and services based on job experience & observations.
o Completes all appropriate paperwork, shift information and submits to appropriate personnel/systems
o Performs other duties when assigned and as needed.
SCOPE:
o On call 24/7 365 days a year
o Must answers calls during days, nights, and weekends as necessary
o Duties may require being over the road 50-75% of the time depending on the job/project
o May be gone extended periods of time up to a month or more depending on the job/project
o May be required to stay in hotels
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:
o No DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) or DUI (Driving Under the Influence) on applicants driving record within the previous three (3) years from date of application
o No more than three (3) moving violation convictions and/or any at fault accident within the previous three (3) years from date of application
o Applicant must be at least 21 years of age
o Knowledge of DOT regulations
o In compliance with DOT and PSC Drug policy
o In compliance with DOT Background Check policy
o In compliance with DOT Physical Requirements
o Possess all required I-9 documentation
o Maintains a current driver's license or CDL as required
o Obtains a license for the state of residence within 90 days
o
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Applicant must possess a valid state driver's license (no revocations or current suspensions of license)

o Minimum of one (1) year related experience
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Ability to work days or days depending on job/project
